Dan Merrick spent nine years as a service plumber before he got tired of watching customers get handed between four companies for one bathroom. In 2009 he bought a used Transit, printed 500 cards, and started taking whatever the neighborhood called about.

Seventeen years later there are 34 of us across five trades. Same rule: whoever answers the phone owns the job until it’s finished.
